Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping Policy:

Shipping of any purchase from is safe, secure and hassle free.

At the time of placing the order, the customer must mention the full name as stated in his/her government approved photo identification. Every package of product (Gold/Silver/Platinum and Diamond Studded Jewellery) purchased from our website will reach your doorstep in a durable condition and in a tamper-proof package. Delivery shall be made by the courier agent only after verification of the identity of the recipient. In case the member wishes to name a recipient other than himself/herself, specific details would be required at the time of placing the order. Any of the following government approved photo identification documents would be required:

a) Driving License
b) Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card
c) Voters Identification Card
d) Passport

We make sure that delivery is made with the help of courier agent after checking the identity proof of the recipient and after the courier agent confirms the same. To make sure that the delivery is safe and secure, the courier agent will note down the details of the recipient’s identity proof.

Shipping Charges:

Shipping is FREE OF COST across India. In a recent update from some of the State Governments, Entry Tax is leviable on Jewellery and Solitaire purchase which is to be paid by customer at the time of entry of the product into their state. To make this process simple, our courier team will make the payment on behalf of the customer and we shall be collecting the same from you after delivery of order.

Delivery Location:

Orders shall be delivered to Residential, Commercial Locations only. The delivery of the orders cannot be made at any public place like Mall, Hotel, Restaurant, Hostel, On Road etc.

All costs for re-shipment and handling in the case of non-delivery of the order in the first attempt, would be borne by the customer. In case you are still not reachable/available, the same will be returned to our office from where the product has been dispatched (Kolkata).

Where we deliver

We deliver to most postal addresses in India except a few barred pin codes. We also deliver to select list of countries outside India. No deliveries shall be made to P.O. Box addresses.

In-transit risk

All the shipments made are fully insured at minimum cost to the customer. However, we would not be responsible for any lost/stolen packages or full/partial damage to the package after being delivered to the customer’s address by the courier company.

Refund Policy:

The refund policy is applicable only if the product is shipped back to us within 14 days of delivery. All Refunds shall be made by way of an online bank transfer to the customer’s bank account within the 14 days of receipt of the product. The refund will be processed by reversal of previous transaction.

This refund policy is not applicable for Customized Ornaments.

The money back amount will be 100% of actual amount paid. In case, any Coupon, Discount or Promo Code was used during the original purchase, the exchange amount will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the Coupon, Discount or Promo Code, as applicable.

Under this policy, the product shall be delivered along with its original bill/product certificate. Loss of the original product certificate/invoice would result in a deduction of amount.

Return Procedure:

The following steps need to be followed while returning a product to us for Refund, Exchange or Buyback

a) Contact Manik Chand Jewellers and provide the details of the item you wish to return to us along with the Order No. and collect a Return Authorization Code.

b) Pack the Jewellery strictly according to the packing guidelines along with the original packing materials and certificate in the tamper proof packet. Note that once the packet is sealed, it cannot be opened. It is also advised to note down the courier airway bill number for future reference.

c) Once the returned product is received by Manik Chand Jewellers and successful quality check is completed, your refund/Exchange will be processed within 15 working days.

This refund policy is not applicable for Customized Ornaments. holds the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice. In the event of any changes being made, the revised policy shall be posted on this website.
